Prior to the Contest, the Contest Chair/Contest Master briefs the contestants. The Chief Judge briefs the judges, timer, and vote counter on their responsibilities.

At the conclusion of the contest, the Vote Counters collect the ballots and give them to the Chief Judge. The Timer’s report should also be given to the Chief Judge. After leaving the room, the Chief Judge and Vote Counters tally the votes and determine if there have been any disqualifications for time.
The Contest Master conducts an interview of the contestants.
Once the Chief Judge returns with the results, and gives them to the Contest Master.
The Contest Master recognizes all participants and volunteers, with the exception of the judges, announces the winners.
