About Me: I am a healthcare finance professional with over 16 years of experience working in various finance roles at Fortune 500 companies. I have a bachelors degree in finance and an MBA. Recently I started a new role as Finance Manager at American Orthopedic Partners, a venture-capital backed company of medical practices. As part of that role, I am responsible for developing a revenue recognition and forecast process for existing and newly acquired practices.
I enjoy developing strategies to help medical practices increase their revenue. On a lighter note, I like to stay physically active and spend time outdoors.

My professional endeavors involve maintaining my nursing license while working in the software industry as a Business Analyst at MatrixCare for one of our Clinical application, used in long term Healthcare by hundreds of residential/skilled nursing communities nationwide. I chose Toastmasters for its history of supporting others and fostering an environment of positive examples from a diverse organization of members from all walks of life, at all sides of the living spectrum. About Me: Deborah Pinnock is a speaker, trainer, coach and content creator. She currently works at Broward College where she equips students and alumni with the knowledge and skills needed to get into the workforce and thrive there. She is also the founder of DebTalk, LLC, an organization that provides coaching for individuals and groups, develops online courses, as well as hosting, facilitation and speaking services.
For over a decade, Deborah worked in the healthcare industry, gaining a broad range of experience including customer service, marketing, sales, employee engagement and internal communications. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication, an Associate in Science in Marketing Management, and a Bachelor of Music. She is a certified HR professional with the Society for Human Resources Management, and a certified John C. Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker.
One of Deborah’s core beliefs is that it’s important to share our journeys with others because one person’s journey can make a positive difference in the lives of others. As such, she is passionate about creating content via her Youtube channel, Hashtag DebTalk, which leverages her wealth of experience and knowledge to help others thrive in the workplace.

About Me: Since I first served as Club President in 2012, I’ve been an area director, district social media director, and founding President of Online Presenters Toastmasters. I also run the WordPress for Toastmasters project, based on software originally developed for use at Club Awesome. Professionally, I am a writer and editor who spent years working for technology publications including InformationWeek, Baseline Magazine, and Internet World. I am the author of Social Collaboration for Dummies and have given keynote presentations at technology conferences in Berlin, Lisbon, and Stockholm. I consult on editorial and digital projects through Carr Communications Inc. In my day job, I’m an analyst for the digital metrics company Similarweb.
Nardia Aldridge (DTM)
About Me: Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Nardia Aldridge joined Club Awesome Toastmasters in September 2016 to overcome her fear of public speaking. Since joining Club Awesome, she has gained the confidence needed to become a full-time Faculty at Nova Southeastern University and a more effective leader in her professional organizations. Since joining, she has since presented at multiple state and national conferences. In September 2018, she presented at her first International Conference in Melbourne, Australia. In August 2022, she presented at the World Federation of Occupational Therapy Congress in Paris, France.
DTM Nardia Aldridge has served in and outside the club in multiple capacities. She has served as Secretary of Club Awesome 2021-2022, Vice President of Education 2020-2021, President 2019-2020, and Vice President of Membership for the 2018-2019 year. DTM Aldridge is the Founder of Shark Tank Toastmasters, chartered on January 29, 2021. She has served as President, Treasurer, and Secretary for the club and Club Mentor. DTM Aldridge is a Club Sponsor for Positively Impacting Lives Toastmasters, chartered in 2021. In addition, she served as the Area 25 Director. She won the Area Director of the Year and Most Outstanding Area Director Awards for 2020-2021. DTM Aldridge earned her Distinguished Toastmasters Status in August of 2021.
DTM Aldridge is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at Nova Southeastern University. She received her Ph.D. in Health Sciences from Walden University and has a B.S. in Occupational Therapy and an M.S. in Gerontology. Dr. Aldridge has also served nine years in the United States Army, where she met and married her husband, Roger Aldridge. They have two children (Alyssa and Andrew). Dr. Aldridge is passionate about increasing diversity in the occupational therapy profession and is the President and founder of the South Florida Black Occupational Therapy Caucus.
