Every 6 months, members pay dues to Toastmasters International (in April and October), plus Club Awesome. Toastmasters International dues cover the basic educational program, while club dues are for room rental and other local expenses.
Those dues are pro-rated based on the month that you start. When you join in March or September, we charge you for 7 months of Toastmasters International dues (so as to avoid having to immediately ask you to renew).
In addition, there is a new member fee, which covers the initial batch of educational materials you will receive. The new member fee only applies to those who have not previously been members of Toastmasters.
