Conduct Productive Meetings: a Toastmasters Workshop
Tuesday April 4, 2017 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The business world runs on meetings. Too many meetings? It certainly seems so when we find ourselves caught in meetings that don’t accomplish much. What is even worse is when you are the one running the meeting that doesn’t accomplish as much as you thought it should.
If you want to run more productive meetings, this workshop can help. This Toastmasters International program presents best practices on organizing and focusing meetings that will lead to better decisions and other productive outcomes. Participants will also get an opportunity to practice techniques for leading meetings.
The event is free, offered as a public service by Club Awesome Toastmasters. Attendance is limited to 20 participants.
Location: Room 214, Northwest Regional Library, 3151 N. University Drive, Coral Springs FL 33065. Questions? Call David at 954-757-5827.
About the Presenter: David F. Carr is a writer, editor, and digital consultant. In his book Social Collaboration for Dummies, he covered technologies and strategies for using web and social interactivity to make businesses more productive (partly by minimizing the need for meetings!).
David is a past president of Club Awesome Toastmasters in Coral Springs and the founder of Online Presenters Toastmasters, which meets online and focuses on skills for webinars and online meetings.
